The Ultimate Bike Ride…!

bike ride

David and Nathan have both committed to an amazing bike ride for charity in November, 2009. The ride is from Vietnam to Cambodia, from Saigon to Angkor Wat. The total distance is just short of 500 km, over 7 days.

The charity is Regain, for sports tetraplegics, for men and women severely injured playing their sport. Their individual fundraising target is £3,200 - an impressive target of £6,400 between them (especially when they share so many of the same contacts, including (of course) relatives!

I’ll keep you updated on their plans, their fundraising activities, and their progress on the ride itself. If however you would like to make a donation (anything is welcome), then make a cheque payable to ‘Caroline Rowlands’ (mum is keeping the account for now!!) and send it to 28 Preesall Avenue, Heald Green, Cheadle, SK8 3JF. We’ll acknowledge every funder on this site.

Also, if you have any great ideas for fundraising, or can offer help or advice, just leave a comment (even if its best wishes) below.
