You may or may not know that in May 2018 a new set of legislation around Data Protection, known as GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) will come into force. It will radically change the way you can collect, store, use and transfer personal information. Fines for non-compliance are severe, typically they will be in the order of 4% of annual turnover (£40,000 on a £1 million turnover).
Are you ready?
Do you know what to do to comply, and avoid any fines?
The requirements are quite complex, and will need a considerable lead-in time. If you leave it to the last minute, the chances are it will be too late…
To get a thorough understanding of GDPR, its implications, and how best to arrange to meet the requirements, why not come to our half day seminar on 11th January, at Epping Forest College, in Debden, from 2 – 4pm. The session will be led by Melanie Blackmore, of Blackmore Associates, and the fee, including refreshments, will be £90 per person.
Places are limited, and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
